EmailYourInterviewer.com has generated more than 200 letters! by Alison Green on September 16, 2009 EmailYourInterviewer.com has now generated more than 200 letters to employers who never bothered to get back to job-seekers who interviewed with them! EmailYourInterviewer.com is a free service run by Ask a Manager that lets job-seekers generate an anonymous, polite letter to employers who interviewed them and then never responded to them in any way. If you’ve been frustrated yourself by not hearing back from companies after interviewing, why not politely let them know? Go here, and the work will be done for you. (Just make sure to follow the rules.) Sally* September 16, 2009 at 1:15 pm Have you received any responses/feedback from HR staff who've received these letters?
Ask a Manager* September 16, 2009 at 1:19 pm Yes! I put one of them here: http://askamanager.blogspot.com/2009/08/emailyourinteriewercom-success-story.html … and I've had a handful of other responses: Some of them denying it, some of them asking who generated the letter (I don't reveal that and actually don't even have that information if I wanted to), and a couple apologizing.
almostgotit* September 16, 2009 at 1:43 pm Too funny. I love it, though, and how *totally * appropriate.
Sabrina* September 16, 2009 at 6:15 pm Man I would love to find out who those companies are. :) But I guess the anonymous thing goes both ways.
human* September 17, 2009 at 1:22 pm Ha.. for the ones who asked who generated the letter, did you just ignore their email? :-)
Sabrina* September 18, 2009 at 4:59 pm LOL or just tell them you'll let them know within a week or two.
Ask a Manager* September 19, 2009 at 4:19 pm I responded and explained that it's anonymous. It's so interesting reading their reactions.
